Welcome to The Dining Rooms in Oswestry. We're much more than a large place in which to eat and drink! What we have created is a venue that is visually rich, traditionally comfortable, fun and relaxing to be in and has loads of space.
The Dining Rooms is a wonderful setting for a wedding. Built in 1841 as part of the National School Scheme, it still has its original wooden floors, beamed high ceilings and stone mullion windows.
The character and scale of the building creates a large ‘country house’ crossed with ‘baronial hall’ feel, both spectacular and welcoming. Huge open log fires with mulled wine in winter or the flower-filled front courtyard for Pimms in summer are lovely seasonal variations.
We're licensed to hold civil ceremonies in both the Fitzallan Wing and the Caeglas Room. Civil ceremonies can take place on any day of the week including Sundays (excluding Bank Holidays).
At The Dining Rooms we're well aware that choosing the right venue for your very special day is a major decision and that there are many factors for you to consider. We have an unrivalled reputation and verifiable track record for the provision of top quality wedding arrangements.
The Dining Rooms has an enviable and hard-won reputation for providing a consistently high quality experience across a wide range of customer expectations.
