When you get married you want the day to be perfect - which includes yourself! You wish to have the perfect wedding dress, together with perfect hair, skin, makeup, shoes, accessories and more.
In order to ensure that everything ends up as perfect, or then as near to perfect as is possible in this less than perfect world of ours, you need to ensure that you start planning for a couple of weeks, if not months, in advance to make sure that your skin, hair and nails are in top conditions when you reach your wedding day.
Skin, hair and nails take time to get into perfect condition, so don't think that you can just slap on some moisturizer the day before and have a glowing skin!
You might want to see a beautician or professional make-up artist a couple of weeks before to get some advice on how to treat your skin in order to have it in peak condition.
When it come to make-up, the same thing applies. By all means make use of a professional make-up artist - after all, they know all the tricks in the trade to ensure the most of your face and appearance, however, make sure that you go for at least one trial session a couple of weeks in advance to make sure that your skin does not have an allergic reaction to the products that the beautician might use.
Apart from that you need to check that your makeup works with the rest of your outfit - your hairpiece and your dress.
