Oakley Hall is a lovely Country House Wedding Venue in Shropshire near Market Drayton. Situated in magnificent countryside on the borders of Shropshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire this superb wedding reception venue is fine example of a Queen Anne mansion, built on the site of an older dwelling mentioned in the Domesday Book.
Set in 100 acres of rolling parkland, Oakley Hall commands superb views over the surrounding countryside. The gardens include wild areas in addition to more formal parts, which are perfect for memorable, romantic photographs.
To the rear of the house there is small valley containing a beautiful lake, the ideal setting for fireworks at the end of the day.
This is a family home, never open to the general public, and the friendly atmosphere cannot be stressed too strongly. It is lovely in summer and also in the winter when the Great Hall, with its two huge log-burning stoves, is warm and welcoming.
Licensed for Civil Ceremonies and Partnership Ceremonies.
